Details

Benzinga Brand Guidelines is the most impactful project that I created during my time at Benzinga. The brand guidelines were created as the company transitioned from an old logo to a brand new marketing system. This comprehensive set of guidelines is meant for new employees and marketing partners. Most importantly, the guidelines define a consistent branding system in print and online.

Whitespace Requirements

Required minimum white space around the logo is equal to 1/3 of the letter height. Minimum white space is 1/4 of the total height of the symbol.

To ensure proper use, request a PNG file of the logo/symbol with the minimum white space overlay from the design department.

Use the symbol instead of the primary logo in the following cases:

• Logo falls beneath the required minimum size
• Accompanies a collection of other brand symbols
• For the use of social media icons/profile images
• When the design is better suited for a square mark instead of horizontal
